Vitamins and supplements (daily)B-complex, natural, high potencyB12 – up to 50 mcg. Under doctor’s supervision, up to 200 mcg. A day Brewer’s yeast – 2-3 tbsp.Calcium lactate or bone meal – 6 tablets (excellent for menstrual cramps) B6 – 50 to 100 mg.С – up to 1,000 mg. (helps to absorb iron) E – up to 600 IU (helps to restore menstrual regularity) Kelp – 3 tablets or 1 tsp. of granules F, essential fatty acids – 3 capsules Natural multi-vitamin-mineral formula
Juices Green juice, red beet juice, dark fruit juices such as grape juice, prune juice, cherry juice, black currant juice.
Herbs Ladies mantle and amaranth (in excessive menstruation), life root (in suppressed menstruation), black cohosh (in obstructed menstruation), blue cohosh and yarrow (in menstrual difficulties), motherwort (promotes menstrual flow). Garlic also encourages the menstrual flow. Wormwood and pennyroyal (in painful menstruation), desert tea (Ephedra Viridis), for delayed or difficult menstruation.

Notes:1. Premenstrual edema, swellings and soreness are often relieved by administration of vitamin B6, 50 to 150 mg. a day, especially during 10 days preceding menstruation.2. Vitamin B12 is helpful in restoring normal menstrual cycle. 25 to 100 mcg. daily is usually recommended.3. Irregular and/or profuse menstruation can be caused by thyroid deficiency. Kelp is of specific importance in such condition.
